In September 2013, We was picked as a family to raise awareness of Rett Syndrome through The Jeans for Genes campaign.

Jeans for Genes takes place once a year in September and it raisies money for Genetic Disorder. J4G donate to Rett Uk, a charity that supports families and living with Ret Syndrome.

We was in the local paper, and then it was picked up by a National Newspaper, The Daily Express.

During the Jeans for Genes campaign, I was approached by ITV to do a piece on Rett Syndrome.

I was nervous, but I would never turn down the chance to raise Awareness

NEDBANK London chose Florie's Fund as their Christmas Charity, for their Raffle. This was down to Donna Carmichael a family member who works at the bank.

They raised a massive £2740, for Florie'a Fund. This is gratefully received and will change Florie's Future.

Florie was lucky enough to recieve a cheque for £2000 from Jan Phillips Foundation to cover the cost of a specialist Trike we have been fundraising for. This is so kind and genourous and it means Florie will be able to ride a bike like her Brothers, these a small things that make a big difference to our life as a family.

With the help of my Aunt and Hyde Housing, London.

A table top sale and Residents Christmas Party meant another £170 was donated to Florie's Fund over the christmas period.

We are overwhelmed with the support to make Flories life the Best it could possibly be.

Amor LC of Hertfordshire, having chosen Cure Rett as their charity of 2014 in honour of Florie.

Last year saw 2 events, Bootcamp 100 and Santa Jog.

2014 is set to be another year of successful events.

We applied to Make-A-Wish Foundation to make some wishes come true for Florie.

Florie is only 3 yrs old, but we live in fear everyday that we may lose her too soon.

Her top wish was for her very own hot tub.

Well her wish was granted and we started 2014 on a high when we took delivery of her amazing tub.

It has changing lights, music, spouts and hydro Jets so aswell as furfilling Flories love of water, it is actually helping her physically.

We are forever gratefull for this. Florie's face in the below photo speak a thousand words.
